DESIGN DESCRIPTION

Over time, exquisite pigments made of pure natural materials will produce a sense of organic warmth, which is related to the customer’s brand experience. The well-designed jewellery reflects high-quality craftsmanship, and the carefully selected finishes and the elegant and feminine balanced palette of tones further reflect this. Golden wooden floors, ivory walls, honey-toned travertine, caramel suede and linen curtains create a soft and comfortable space.

In contrast, the polished brass of walnut design, the dark delicate details of glass and custom furniture will naturally complement the soft materials. On the entire back wall of the store, there is a colonnade, which is inspired by the neoclassical architecture of Copenhagen. The repetition of the niche relationship between them creates a private space, with individual jewelry displayed on the podium, and exquisite artworks standing on pure travertine.

When trying jewelry, you can enter more private areas of the store, which gives you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the experience and be creative. Keeping in mind the sustainable and tactile design method, we kept the old oak parquet and paved the walls and ceiling with real clay surfaces produced by the British company Clayworks, thus creating a beautiful and original foundation.

Counters, sideboards, coffee tables, podiums and art collections are all specially designed for the store, so that jewelry can be integrated with other hand-made pieces and tailor-made designs. The simple, open space of the store is only broken by some existing cast iron columns, thus creating a sense of luxury and tranquility in it. A mixed space that blends homely, warm and related feelings with jewelry and artworks, visitors can look forward to ever-changing exhibitions and social events.

Coffee tables, podiums and art collections are all specially designed for the store, allowing jewelry to blend with other handmade works and tailor-made designs. The simple, open space of the store is only broken by some existing cast iron columns, thus creating a sense of luxury and tranquility in it. A mixed space that blends homely, warm and related feelings with jewelry and artworks, visitors can look forward to ever-changing exhibitions and social events.

Norm Architects was established in 2008. We work in the fields of industrial design, residential architecture, commercial interior design, photography and art direction.

Just like human welfare, the essence of Norm Architects work lies in the balance between richness and restraint, order and complexity. Whether it is architecture, interior design, design or creative direction, every project has the same intrinsic quality: simplicity with greater creativity. Our projects are oriented physically and mentally, rather than trends or technology. The ideas explored are not only beautiful, but also feel good: the architecture becomes thoughtful, minimalism becomes soft, and the visual material psents tactile qualities. Our work is keen and clear, and tacitly exudes our attention to quality, detail and durability.

Located in one of the oldest streets in Copenhagen, Denmark, we respect our background and are based on Scandinavian timeless aesthetics, natural materials, and modernist restraint and exquisite design. By exploring things that can enhance human senses regardless of personal pference, our project restores spaces, objects, ideas and images to their simplest forms. Our expertise lies in finding a balance where there is no other place to increase or lack.
