Since the beginning, this concept apartment was developed around the idea that the owner has a strong personality, and that he is somehow dominant in his environment.
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, the man who never reads lives only one.”Books got their special place here, so the bookcase has been carefully designed in order to provide space and functionality because reading is one of the owner’s main hobbies.
As wall art, a picture of “The Endless Column” sculpture created by Constantin Brancusi was chosen because it resembles a symbol of ascension.
Open space apartment concept.
Wood, gold, stone, three elements that have been around us since the very beginning. By using these natural elements with neutral colors, gives us a sense of belonging, even if the design is contemporary and new technology is surrounding us.
The main philosophy of this line of design is to blend tradition with technology.
The color black relates to the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, and as a result it creates an air of mystery. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world. In color psychology this color gives protection from external emotional stress. Black also means power and control.
As a designer Alexandru always felt that black suits me best and this project is his vision of the perfect apartment for his personal taste.
A blend with marble and wood, classic and contemporary….all based on instinct.
